Historical Wargaming is an entertaining, engrossing and enlightening hobby that combines craft skills, mental challenges and friendly competition. By its very nature a social activity, since the publication of H. G. Wells' Little Wars in 1913 (widely regarded as the genesis of recreational wargaming) it has engendered countless opportunities for chivalrous interaction and gentlemanly conversation. In that spirit, then, here is a website dedicated to offering ideas, resources and encouragement for those who wish to get the most out of this engaging and rewarding hobby.
